Hoskinson Health and Wellness Clinic (HHWC) is excited to announce the addition of Misty Bruce to its Behavioral Health team. With nearly 17 years of counseling experience, Misty brings a wealth of expertise and a strong dedication to the well-being of her patients. Misty’s academic journey started with a Bachelor’s in Education in 2005 from the University of Wyoming, specializing in Early Childhood Education. She pursued further education at the same institution, ultimately earning a Master’s in Counseling in 2007.

Misty’s dedication to serving the community has been present since returning to Gillette to initiate her career in 2007. Through her roles at various healthcare facilities, including the establishment of the Kid Clinic and her tenure at McCarty Family Medicine, Misty has consistently taken an integrated approach to providing medical and mental healthcare. Her journey led her to the Youth Emergency Services (YES) House, where she progressed from therapist to clinical supervisor and eventually assumed the role of clinical director. After taking a break to prioritize her mother’s health, Misty returned to the Kid Clinic in 2022 and later launched her private practice in 2023.

Misty’s areas of expertise include working with children, adolescents, families and couples, with a strong emphasis on substance abuse counseling for teenagers. Her commitment lies in assisting individuals of all ages in pursuing their passions and aspirations, aiming to guide them toward improved health and contentment. When asked about her motivation for joining HHWC, she expressed, “I was drawn in by the integrated view on medical and mental health. The mind and body are interconnected and I will be collaborating with a team that utilizes a holistic approach.”…
