WATCH: Driver runs into officer’s cruiser on Rt. 100 in Howard County

HOWARD COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — After a winter storm blanketed the DMV with about half a foot of snow last weekend, and with up to three inches more expected this weekend, the Howard County Police Department (HCPD) is reminding drivers to be extra vigilant.

While responding to a previous collision on Rt. 100, another vehicle struck an HCPD officer’s patrol vehicle on Tuesday.

“As we’re expecting more winter weather tonight into Saturday morning — and just as a general reminder — please be extra careful driving past stopped emergency vehicles,” officials stated in a post on X.
