Sun City club, Daughters support veterans

Sun City’s Bell Stitchers club donated patriotic lap robes to the Sun City National Society Daughters of the American Revolution Agua Fria Chapter, which will be given to local veterans like Bob Meizinger, the Sun City Masonic Lodge’s building board trust chairman.

Meizinger served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1971 and participated in the January 1968 Tet Offensive in Vietnam. After his tour of Vietnam, he was stationed at the Virginia Vint Hill Farms Army Station in June 1969 and in Germany from December 1969 to January 1971. He served in Military Intelligence Crypto and was discharged from active duty in May 1971…
