La Cienega street project may impact traffic in West Hollywood

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power will conduct a water main replacement project on North La Cienega Boulevard between Fountain Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard beginning on Nov. 4 and extending for approximately three months.

West Hollywood is raising awareness about the project, which is within the city’s borders. The LADWP is replacing 1,300 feet of water main starting at Santa Monica Boulevard and progressing north toward Fountain Avenue. Work will occur Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; no work will take place on weekends or holidays. Parking will be restricted while work is in progress.
