Detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Traffic Division are investigating a hit-and-run collision that killed a 48-year-old man in Hollywood on Nov. 7.
The victim was walking northbound across Franklin Avenue around 9:55 p.m. when he was struck by a westbound vehicle. The victim was crossing east of Van Ness Avenue outside of a marked crosswalk, police said. The driver fled the scene.
