2 teens arrested on suspicion of robbery, homicide involving vape cartridges

Police arrested two teen suspects in connection with a robbery turned homicide that happened last month after investigators tracked down details through a hotel’s surveillance video, phone and Instagram records, according to court records.

Salvador Montenegro and Adrian Summa, both 18, are accused of first-degree murder and aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon in the death of 17-year-old Anthony Rabadan on Dec. 23, Phoenix police said.

Around 1:30 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the area of North 52nd Avenue and West Almeria Road near Interstate 10, and they found Rabadan with at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital where he died, police said…
