Heartbreaking note from family left with abandoned dog in Arizona

A family in Arizona said they had “no choice” in their decision to leave their four-year-old dog named Armando tied to a Phoenix shelter’s parking lot with a heartbreaking note.

On December 15, Armando was discovered by shelter personnel at the Arizona Humane Society after he had been tied up in their Sunnyslope campus parking lot. The note read:

it is with heavy heart that we had to result to this but due to unforseen circumstances we had no choice. this is Armando (Mando). he is four years old. Husky labrador mix.

The note continued:

he has head his shots but might need them soon. he’s very friendly with dogs and people. he is prone to ear infections. we pray he finds a good home. god bless…
