VIDEO: Victim chases, leads Glendale police to suspects who stole $50K

GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily)— A man hoping to buy a car with $50,000 cash ended up getting robbed, but he chased after the crooks and helped lead Glendale police to make the arrests last week, investigators said.

Police said the victim deposited a settlement at a Wells Fargo near 91st Avenue and Glendale Avenue on Nov. 7 and took out a cashier’s check for $130,000 and $50,000 cash.

Little did he know that 23-year-old Reginald Chatman and 22-year-old Raymond Pouncy were lurking inside the bank and saw how much cash the man had, court paperwork said.
