2 bald eagles struck by vehicles in U.P. in 2 days

Two bald eagles were struck by vehicles in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula within two days last week, leading to the death of one of these majestic birds, officials said.

The other bald eagle, a 20-year-old female, has a slim chance of recovery, John Pepin reports in Showcasing the DNR (Michigan Department of Natural Resources).
