Burger lovers, beware: An FDA recall is pulling these prepared cheeseburgers from shelves due to a potential listeria contamination.

Dakota Tom’s Pepperjack Cheeseburger, Bacon Cheeseburger and The Gambler all get their patty from an “outside supplier” called BrucePac, which is where the possibly tainted meat came from.

A written statement describes listeria as “an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.”…
