Gov. Burgum invites public to eighth annual Recovery Reinvented

BISMARCK, ND ( KXNET ) — The road to recovery can be a long one. That’s why Gov. Doug Burgum and First Lady Kathryn Burgum are inviting the public to join them for Recovery Reinvented, an event dedicated to eliminating the shame and stigma of the disease of addiction.

The event returns to Bismarck for the fourth time, having previously been held in Minot, Grand Forks, and Fargo, as well as virtually in 2020. It will feature state and national addiction and recovery experts discussing how to reinvent recovery through the sharing of stories and creating recovery-friendly cultures at work and in the community.

ND Health and Human Services raises awareness during National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week
