Last week I wrote about some extremist North Dakota legislators running for re-election. Now it’s time to mention some alarming non-incumbent extremist candidates.
Republican House candidate Daniel Johnston from District 24 (Barnes and Ransom counties). Johnston attended the bogus “Stop the Steal” rally in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 6. He and his wife share a Facebook account, in which they posted a racist joke and liked another one. When Johnston was previously in the Legislature, he rudely refused to participate in a prayer led by a Hindu cleric.
