Deputies: Motorcyclist injured in crash near Holland

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a crash near Holland Thursday night, deputies say.

Before 8 p.m., an SUV driven by a 16-year-old was headed south on West Shore Drive, trying to turn left into a nearby Target parking lot. A Suzuki motorcycle driven by a 41-year-old Muskegon man was headed north on West Shore Drive when it hit the turning SUV, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office said.

The motorcyclist had injuries that were not life-threatening and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The driver of the SUV was not injured, deputies said…
