Jackalopes say they’re committed to staying in Grand Junction, increase efforts to boost attendance

An October City Council meeting stoked rumors that the Grand Junction Jackalopes would move to a new city.

Four months later, the Jackalopes and the city say they’re committed to making Grand Junction the club’s long-term home.

The club posted on its Instagram account that it’s staying in town for the 2025 season, which begins in April. When asked if there’s a chance that this year could be the club’s last in Grand Junction, President Harrison Shapiro had a simple answer…
