GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – Breast cancer is the second most common cancer among American women according to the CDC. Each year about 270,000 women in the U.S. get diagnosed, and 42,000 die from the disease.
Health experts advise that women over 40 get annual mammograms. A mammogram is an x-ray image of breasts. The x-ray is able to find cancer before it is big enough to feel or cause symptoms.
