MESA COUNTY, Colo. — A 24-year-old woman died this month after she suffered head injuries in a Christmas Eve skiing accident at Powderhorn Mountain Resort, according to the Mesa County Coroner.
Jessie Mello, a marine, was home visiting family for the holiday when she went skiing at Powderhorn Mountain on Dec. 24.
