Today has been a sunny and unseasonably warm day here on the western slope with temperatures about 10-15 degrees above normal for this time of year. That will continue into the weekend and even next week, although temperatures will cool down into the 40s around mid-week. The reason for these unseasonable temperatures is an area of high pressure that is still hanging around. However, it will weaken during the weekend and into next week. This weekend be mostly sunny Saturday before seeing cloud cover increase to mostly cloudy skies Sunday. High temperatures in Grand Junction will be in the low 50s and low temperatures in the mid 20s. Montrose will have high temperatures around 50 degrees with low temperatures in the low 20s. Denver will have high temperatures in the low 60s and low temperatures in the 30s…
