Ben King, 53, is the general manager and vice president of Metro Golf Cars at 4063 South Freeway in Fort Worth. The company was founded by King’s father H. Wayne King in 1974 with an initial $2,000 investment that has grown to a multimillion dollar business.

Metro Golf Cars is a golf cart dealership that distributes to large North Texas companies, including American Airlines, Lockheed Martin, Tarrant County College, Texas Wesleyan University and Texas Christian University. H. Wayne King died on Sept. 21, 1990. His wife, Beverly Werner, took over ownership shortly afterward and has maintained the company as a family-owned business…
