GRPD: Jiujitsu training leads to fewer injuries during arrests

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids police are training to ensure use-of-force incidents are safer and more effective.

According to national data, the Grand Rapids Police Department says, around 8% to 10%of police encounters involving an arrest become a use-of-force incident.
