GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Residents of a neighborhood on Grand Rapids’ southeast side say they’re “living in a nightmare,” having experienced multiple water main breaks in the past seven months.
“It’s a nightmare. We are just living in a constant nightmare,” said resident Larry Gibbs.
On June 13, a water main broke at the intersection of Adams Street SE and Philadelphia Avenue SE, flooding the neighborhood. Nearly 200 homes were affected, and neighbors told News 8 they had tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of damage to their homes…
