One dead after 28th Street car fire, Kentwood police say

KENTWOOD, Mich. — A man died after a car fire in Kentwood Tuesday night, according to the Kentwood Police Department.

The fire happened in a parking lot on 28th Street SE, between Arby’s and Whole Foods, at about 7:08 p.m.

According to police, the man died from injuries sustained in the fire. His name remains withheld.

As of Tuesday, the incident remains under investigation.
