ST. LOUIS — One person was killed and another was critically injured Thursday afternoon near Lafayette Square.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday to a shooting in the 2600 block of Rutger Street.
A 26-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were taken to an area hospital with bullet-related injuries. The man was later pronounced dead at the hospital, police said. Police said the woman was in critical condition at the hospital…
