Supervisors to consider tiny homes, bridge projects, and community presentations

In an effort to develop alternative types of housing in Nevada County, the Board of Supervisors directed the Planning Department to develop an Ordinance to allow Tiny Homes on Wheels (THOWs) utilizing existing models implemented by other jurisdictions, including Placer County.

It will be up to the Board to approve or reject the THOW ordinance following another public hearing scheduled during a regularly scheduled Nevada County Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday, November 26 in the chambers of the Eric Rood Administrative Center located at 950 Maidu Avenue in Nevada City.
