MONTANA – A period of strong, gusty west to southwest winds will start in late tonight lasting through Thursday morning. Widespread gusts of over 50 mph will be possible, so make sure to secure any loose items or holiday/outdoor decorations.
If traveling, please take extra precaution as high-profile vehicles or vehicles pulling a trailer could experience some difficult conditions. High Wind Warnings have been issued across much of western and northern Montana for wind gusts near 60 to 75 mph.
