GREEN BAY – The Green Bay Preble boys soccer program moved into a first-place tie with Green Bay Notre Dame for the most WIAA state appearances of any local school when it qualified for the big stage last week.
The Hornets and Tritons have made state 11 times, one more than De Pere and seven more than any other school from the Green Bay metro area.
But despite the lofty status, and even though they made it to state nine times the previous 22 years, not everyone expected them to reach this point in 2024…
