LIMESTONE, Tenn. (WJHL) — Four hundred walkers and runners gathered together on a windy Saturday morning in Limestone to support The Crumley House.
News Channel 11’s own Kelly Goetz was the emcee for this year’s Joggin’ for the Noggin’ 5K event–as well as a participant. Despite a challenging course, there were lots of laughs and smiles from everyone.
The 5K and pancake breakfast is the largest spring fundraiser for the brain injury rehabilitation center. When asked what it means to see all the community support, the center said that they are thankful.

“We’re blessed to live in this community, and our community from all cities around support us and they have for a number of years,” said The Crumley House’s Executive Director Guynn Edwards. “So to get this many people together, to run for a cause like Crumley House, it’s a great thing.”
After finishing the 5K, runners and walkers were treated to an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast, and there was plenty of food to go around for everyone. There were eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy and of course pancakes. Participants left not only with a full stomach but also a full heart…
