NASHVILLE, Tenn.– A line of storms swept through the Midstate Saturday, with an EF-1 tornado touching down in Rutherford and Bedford counties, leaving notable damage. Tornado warnings were issued in 16 counties starting after 3 p.m.
A tree struck one home in Christiana, in Rutherford County, as crews also worked to remove other downed trees throughout the county. Flash flooding and other storm damage could be seen across Middle Tennessee.
The Dickson County Sheriff quickly warned of high water, washing out roads.
