Convicted Killer And Arsonist Escaped From Prison In Mississippi On Christmas Eve

Police in Mississippi were searching for a dangerous criminal who managed to escape from prison on Christmas Eve.

According to the George County Sheriff’s Office, Drew Johnson, 33, escaped from SMCI (South Mississippi Correctional Institution). Johnson was serving a life sentence for the murder of Calvin Holloway Jr, 25.

The Sheriff’s Office posted a mug shot on Facebook, as well as Johnson’s full description. The post explains, “He will be desperate and very dangerous. People tend to be more generous during Christmas and let their guard down. Be vigilant and be careful. Please share this.”

The Daily Mail reports that Johnson murdered Holloway back in 2016. Holloway left his friends to help a stranded companion at 3:45 am but never returned. His friends reported Johnson missing, and his body was found with multiple stab wounds four days later…
