GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office said a man has been charged after trying to run over a deputy at a Waffle House overnight.
According to the sheriff’s office, dispatch received a 911 call around 1:07 a.m. in reference to a suspicious car in the Waffle House parking lot located on Roper Mountain Road. Upon arrival, the driver tried to run over the deputy to evade custody.
