WESTERVILLE, Ohio — My Very Own Blanket is hosting its 25th Anniversary Celebration on Thursday, October 10, at Creekside Conference Center.
“We are overjoyed to be celebrating this significant milestone- 25 years since my family and I crafted our first blankets for children in the foster care system. Founded in 1999 and based in Westerville, Ohio, organizers say My Very Own Blanket (MVOB) has grown to an international organization dedicated to warming the hearts of children in foster care by providing them with handmade blankets and quilts, offering a sense of comfort and security.
