Augusta University holds panel discussion on dating violence

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – On Tuesday at Augusta University, students received firsthand accounts of what to watch out for when it comes to dating violence.

This was a panel discussion where different local experts highlighted the signs and warnings that students should watch out for, including the signs of violence that are often misunderstood or misrepresented in the media.

“The biggest thing that I have noticed is that they don’t realize that they are being stalked. They think that stalking is hiding in the bushes watching, and not looking at your location on your phone, or what you post on social media, or what you post on Instagram,” said Sgt.
