La-Z-Boy Donation to North Augusta Store Will Help Fund Utility Assistance

La-Z-Boy in Evans donated 60 pieces of gently used furniture to the Community Ministry of North Augusta Thrift Store. The generous donation could generate around $5,000 to fund the ministry’s essential assistance programs.

Earlier this week, a tractor-trailer loaded with chairs, tables, and other items from the LA-Z-Boy’s bi-annual trade-in event was delivered to the thrift store. The staff moved quickly to price and set up the furniture. Between holiday shoppers and storm recovery needs, they expect these items to sell quickly.
