This year, the annual Mississippi event celebrates 60 years of beloved tradition. Read on and mark your calendars for some of the major events of this year’s rodeo.
“The Greatest Show on Dirt”

The main event will take place up to twice a day from Feb. 7 to Feb. 16 with a break on Monday, Feb. 10 and Tuesday, Feb. 11. The Dixie National Rodeo, dubbed the “Greatest Show on Dirt,” will celebrate its 60th anniversary with familiar favorites including bull riding and calf roping.
Each rodeo show will be followed by a concert. This year’s music line-up includes Zach Top, Lorrie Morgan, Clay Walker, Sam Barber, George Birge, Ella Langley and Gretchen Wilson…
