The new Rouses supermarket on Pass Road in Biloxi is just the cat’s meow. Everyone was so nice there Wednesday. I think I shall get at market there more frequently.
Stennis’ future
Martha Sanchez’s article about the future of Stennis Space Center was eye-opening. Having no idea such controversy existed, I mentioned to my best birding buddy recently that if not for the Stennis buffer zone, all of that Pearl River bottomland would have been developed and ruined for wildlife and nature recreation. if Stennis is destined to close in a few decades, we conservationists and naturalists should start making plans now to have it designated as a national forest.
High prices
