A 59-year-old Pleasant Prairie man was taken into custody after a three-hour stand-off with Pleasant Prairie Police at his home in the 8500 block of 48th Avenue Monday night. At approximately 7:15 PM—neighbors in the area called police and reported that a neighbor had fired a weapon outside of his home multiple times—and then—retreated back into his house. Pleasant Prairie Police responded and set up perimeter around the home to contain the individual and the incident. The Kenosha County Tactical Response Team was notified and responded with tactical personnel and negotiators.
