Mount Airy girl donates hair for 10th time, encourages others to ‘be better humans and do something good for the world’

For the last 15 years, Hannah Streaker, of Mount Airy, has been growing her hair as long as possible only to cut it short again. She’s done this 10 times and donated a combined 9 feet of her own hair to organizations such as Wigs for Kids and Locks of Love .

Both organizations provide wigs for children undergoing cancer treatments and who have alopecia, which causes hair loss.
