Navy’s Depth Shines in 8-0 Shutout of Wilson College

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy women’s soccer team extended its run of undefeated play at home in 2024 with an 8-0 decision over Wilson College on Tuesday night. The Mids’ (3-2) depth was on display versus the Phoenix as 20 different Mids played and 11 collected at least one point. Isabella Romano (Jr., Syosset, N.Y.), Lucy Gaines (So., Seattle, Wash.) and Lizzie Emerson (Fr., Houston, Texas) led the way as all three all scored two goals at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility.

In addition to the six goals scored by the above trio, Amanda Graziano (Sr., Middlebury, Conn.) and Kayana Adlam (Fr., Orlando, Fla.) found the back of the net, while Mori Sokoloff (Jr., Arnold, Md.) and Emma Romano (Jr., Syosset, N.Y.) each registered career-highs with two assists each. The Mids’ goalkeeper union was strong versus the Phoenix as Natasha Stramrood (Fr., Cypress, Texas), Talley Applewhite (Jr., Midlothian, Va.) and Cadence Tordai (So., San Diego, Calif.) combined for the team shutout.
