Myles Garrett rushes to the defense of Deshaun Watson

The Cleveland Browns fell to 1-6 after falling to the Cincinnati Bengals, marking the first time they’ve lost to the Bengals at home since 2017. However, the end result isn’t what got the most attention.

Quarterback Deshaun Watson tore his Achilles in the second quarter, which prompted the majority of fans in attendance to audibly cheer as he laid on the ground before being carted off. Star edge rusher Myles Garrett was asked about this after the game, to which he said Watson doesn’t deserve all of the hate that is thrown his way.

“I’ve seen him work his ass off,” Garrett said. “To get back here and put a smile on his face and try to put everything that’s outside of the facility behind him. Death threats, people coming to his house… No one deserves that.”…
