Mental health organization hosting walk in Doraville, hopes to raise $340k

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — There is still time to register for the NAMI Walk on Saturday to raise money for “advocacy, education and support on behalf of those affected by mental illness.”

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is hosting a pop-up walk at Assembly Park, the public greenspace at Assembly Atlanta Studios, 2582 Assembly Blvd., in Doraville at 10 a.m.

According to their website, NAMI is “the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.”…
