ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A rally was held Saturday to protest what’s being called “Cop City” on the second anniversary of the police shooting death of protestor Manuel Terán.
Terán was shot more than 40 times by police, marking a turning point in the struggle against the construction of the Atlanta Public Safety Center — which opponents call “Cop City.” More than 30 people were later charged with domestic terrorism for protesting the facility.
