Hampstead resident Adam Bromwell Piet, 32, is facing nearly two dozen charges following his arrest on Tuesday amid an ongoing investigation by the sheriff’s office into the illicit materials.
Beginning in July, the Carroll County Advocacy and Investigation Unit initiated an investigation into the possession of child pornography online and later found evidence of distribution, which led them straight to Piet.
