SHIPPENSBURG — Mechanicsburg took down Shippensburg in a battle of undefeated teams to finish its regular season 10-0 with the Mid-Penn Conference Keystone Division title in-hand. The Wildcats are also ranked No. 8 in the state for Class 5A.
Josh Smith eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards for a second straight season while putting up 205 total yards of offense and two touchdowns. Dom Baker accounted for 54 total yards and three touchdowns. Quarterback Eli Reider completed 13 of his 18 passes for 206 yards and three touchdowns.
