More than 2 dozen business closings across Pa.: restaurants, banks and more

Several businesses have announced location closings recently in Pennsylvania, including numerous banks, restaurants and retailers.

The list below includes 27 locations across the Keystone State that have closed or will close soon.

This list is published on PennLive several times a year. PennLive’s most recent list of business closings was published on Oct. 22.

Adams County

Mt. Joy Township

The company said on its Facebook page that it will close its store at the Outlet Shoppes at Gettysburg in February.

Allegheny County

Pittsburgh

Citizens Bank plans to close its branch at 4570 Fifth Ave., according to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency’s weekly bulletin.

Beaver County

Economy

The branch at 1685 W. State St. will close, according to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency’s weekly bulletin.

Potter Township

The expandable polystyrene manufacturer is closing its facility at 400 Frankfort Road and 140 people will be laid off. The company expects to cease all production at the location in January. The layoffs will take place beginning on Jan 3. Layoffs will continue to take place to complete the activities necessary to permanently idle the facility by early 2026.

Bucks County

Middletown Township

The bank plans to close the branch inside Giant at 168 N. Flowers Mill Road, Suite A, according to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency’s weekly bulletin.

Butler County
