Community meets in Waterbury to express concerns about declining nursing home beds

WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — Dozens attended a public hearing on Monday night in Waterbury to fight for nursing homes to stay open across the state.

Two in Bristol announced their closure in the few weeks as Abbott Terrace closed their doors in Waterbury, creating long waitlists and limited options for hundreds of elderly residents.
