WLBT First Alert Weather

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Warm and dry weather has been the rule for much of October. There is a cold front over north Mississippi tonight, but rain chances across central Mississippi are looking slim. There’s a better chance you will see some patchy fog developing overnight. I really don’t think we’ll see any measurable rainfall across the area. Models are coughing up a 20% chance here and there on Sunday, but it is likely going to be the middle of next week when this dry spell comes to an end.

As far as the warm, above normal temperatures are concerned, I’m not expecting any changes in that as well, until after midweek. Our average hi/lo is 75/50. Expect temps to run around 10 degrees above normal, both day and night…
