BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Kevin Richert at Idaho Ed News has cracked the story of the BSU volleyball team’s forfeiture against SJSU wide open.
CBS2 has previously reported that BSU women’s volleyball announced that they are forfeiting their then-upcoming game against San Jose State University. The University, including the athletics department refused to add any context or answer any further questions about the decision, even as State leaders like Governor Little publicly applauded the decision.
SJSU reportedly has a trans-gender athlete playing on their volleyball team. Women’s sports activist Riley Gaines lauded the decision via X, saying in part, “This is the way.”…
