S.F. police arrest man suspected of stealing $28,000 worth of bikes from Richmond District home

San Francisco police arrested a man Wednesday who was suspected of breaking into a Richmond District home and stealing $28,000 worth of bicycles.

On Jan. 2 at around 10:09 a.m., police responded to a burglary at a home on the 2700 block of Anza Street and found that someone had broken in and stolen several bicycles, according to the San Francisco Police Department.

On Jan. 13, the victim spotted an online listing selling bicycles that seemed to match the stolen ones and told investigators, police said. Through the listing, officers identified Joseph Zachary Negapatan as a suspect…
