Five things to watch as Helena High, Capital battle for crosstown bragging rights

HELENA — Crosstown football in Helena is an event that doesn’t need much introduction and on Friday night, the Capital Bruins and Helena Bengals will meet on the gridiron for the 58th time.

Capital has won the last two matchups by a combined score of 48-3, knocking off the Bengals in a mud bowl, 35-0 in 2023. CHS also handed Helena a 13-3 loss in a No. 1 vs. No. 2 showdown in 2022.
