‘Freeda Womb’ stops in Helena, speakers encourage awareness of reproductive rights

The Americans for Contraception’s “IUD Express” Tour and “Freeda Womb” stopped in Helena on Thursday with speakers that expressed why it was important to support reproductive rights in the upcoming election.

About five people listened to Dr. Trent Taylor, a physician from Missoula, and state Rep. Jill Cohenour, D-East Helena, speak about reproductive rights.

“I get so worried about places like Idaho where doctors are fleeing in large numbers because they don’t want to be subject to this kind of legislation where the state and federal government are interfering with doctors’ ability to provide the best possible care for their patients,” Taylor said…
