Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – So far during the 2024 holiday shopping season, the City of Henderson Police Department’s Investigative Services Division Property Unit has conducted five “Retail Theft Blitz” operations to help combat retail thefts in some of Henderson’s larger shopping corridors.
During these operations, 117 arrests were made, with more than $9,223 in stolen property recovered and returned to the retailers. Included in these arrests were numerous repeat offenders, multiple offenders with active arrest warrants for other crimes, and offenders currently part of larger, ongoing Organized Retail Theft series.
In a partnership between HPD Property Detectives, HPD Patrol Division, LVMPD Organized Retail Crime (ORC), several local retail locations, and their Loss Prevention staff, these targeted operations began just days before Thanksgiving and will continue through the holiday shopping season…
